Vung Tau To Mekong Delta 2 Days

Morning activities:

Travel out Vung Tau city with our guide and driver and transfer you to Mekong Delta of Ben Tre. It takes you nearly 2 hours on car to pass through Ho Chi Minh to reach Mekong Delta. And go ahead to Ben Tre City 70km from Ho Chi Minh city. First of all you arrive in Hung Vuong pier, from here you start a boat trip cruise along the Ham Luong river (a branch of the Mekong). You will have a stop at various local workplaces to give you a picture of how the local economy works. You can see a brick-kiln, where bricks are still painstakingly made by hand.

Continue to visit a coconut processing workshop where you can see local people in making coconut products such as mat weaving house, ect

Afterward, you will have a 15km cycling on village through tranquil road to see peaceful countryside and passing through fruit gardens like coconuts, cassaba melon; cucumber and rice field, etc. Have a delicious lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon & evening activities:

Go on this afternoon by rowing boat along small canals for a relax trip and see the river life along the river. You return Hung Vuong pier and get on car to visit Vinh Trang pagoda.

Vinh Trang pagoda is an ancient pagoda with unique architecture where bring you more discover the culture of people as well as religion here. Continue drive to Vinh Long Province where you will check in an authentic house for homestay.

Evening is the time for you to experience with the local family, have dinner and overnight at homestay.

Morning activities:

Get up early in the homestay and enjoy the fresh air in the countryside. Have breakfast at the homestay. After that you will on the journey by boat to discover Cai Be Floating market.

Cai Be Floating market is an attraction of Vinh Long. Although it is now crowded as before thanks to the development of roads condition and build new bridges, Cai Be reflects the trading customs of local people by boats on river so that you can experience a part of river-life in Mekong Delta area. it has colorful of farming productions on boat. After that you will make a row boat riding will take us deeper into the lush and everlasting green of country site long the narrow creek and to enjoy the peaceful moment.

Here is the opportunity to visit local traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves. Also see the th daily works of local farmers such as catching, agriculture cultivation, and picking fruits in the garden. You will visit a fruit garden where you can see how local villagers grow high quality fruit tree. This is the chance you can eat many kinds of fruits from the garden & home made rice wine while listening to the traditional music.

The last spot for visiting is the brick kilns where you can see how the local people create beautiful potteries from clay. Take the boat trip on river to return Vinh Long where you can visit a local market if still have time

Afternoon activities:
