Sustainable trekking tour in Northern Vietnam villages

Morning activities:

Meet tour guide and driver then depart to Mai Chau. On the way, visit a Muong village. Continue to Thung Khe pass where you can view magnificent panoramic views of the valley before arriving in Mai Chau town. Mai Chau is a beautiful valley located 145 km away from Hanoi. It is great place with harmonious landscapes, green mountain ranges, rice terraces and White Thai ethnic villages.

Arrival in Mai Hich, check in your accommodation then enjoy lunch cooked by the host.

Afternoon activities:

In the afternoon explore Mai Hich by bike(optional) or walk along the trails and concrete roads. You will be seduced by the gorgeous landscapes as the villages, rice fields, mountains and streams are in perfect harmony with one another. Do not miss the opportunity to communicate with the friendly local people who are always willing to welcome you into their house to enjoy a cup of tea. Return to your accommodation in the late afternoon.

Evening activities:

Morning activities:

After breakfast at homestay, Depart from Mai Hich directly to Eo Ken, 30km away, where the Muong ethnics live. Walk down the slope and enjoy the spectacular view of Pu Luong Nature reserve, rice field terraces and mountains. Visit a Muong ethnic family in Eo Ken village and discover their authentic life. Continue walking through this beautiful landscape and cross a stream to reach Hang Village.

Get pick up to Pu Luong by car. Check in your accommodation and have lunch.

Afternoon & evening activities:

Later Head to Chieng Lau, a picturesque area renowned for its lush rice fields and bamboo water wheels. Here, embark on a scenic walk, allowing you to engage with local residents and catch a glimpse of the bamboo water wheels used for irrigation.

Come back to the host house. Stay overnight in mountain.

Morning activities:

Get up early in the morning and enjoy the fresh atmosphere in the village before going on your trekking to explore the diversity of nature, local culture, minority community at Hin and Tom village to get more experiences and wonderful views with much impression.

We have lunch at a local food stall before getting on the car drive to Ninh Binh

Afternoon & evening activities:

This afternoon you leave Pu Luong and travel ahead to Ninh Binh. You will be on car 3,5 hours to reach Ninh Binh. Check in homestay. Have dinner with the family and overnight at homestay in Ninh Binh. (Optional: If you not like homestay you can choose hotel with extra charge).

Morning activities:

Have breakfast at homestay. Then, you’ll visit Tam Coc -“Three Caves” by sampan boat. A villager will row you along a little river which pops in between sheer limestone hills. The ride takes you through 3 distinct tunnel-like caves. This lasts almost 2 hours.

By bike, visit around Tam Coc village.

Visit a thousand-year-old lime-stone temple of Thai Vi.

Visit Bich Dong Pagoda, Bich Dong literally means “Emerald Green Grotto”. The ancients named it because the pagoda was surrounded by green trees and the scenery was really peaceful.

Have lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon & evening activities:

In the afternoon you continue our trip to Mua Cave. You’ll discover the summit of Ninh Binh and discover yourself by conquer ing more than 400 measures up to the mountain. After reach the top of Mua cave. Where you have opportunity to take the panoramic view of Ninh Binh. Having a look down Ngo Dong river, where the tourists usually visit Tam Coc by bamboo boat. We also visit Mua cave or called tiger cave.

Evening you are free at the homestay, have dinner with the family and share.

Fullday activities:

Have breakfast at homestay. At 07h30: Take the bus to Lan Ha Bay (or private car).

11:00 – 11:30: Arriving at Tuan Chau Marina– have check-in procedures at the waiting lounge. You can have special tea at the lounge with a warm welcome.

12:30: Transferred to the main boat by tender about 30-45 minutes. Embark on 5Star Amanda Luxury Cruise.

10:45 – 11:30: Enjoy a delightful brunch at our restaurant while cruising back.

11:00 – 11:45: The transfer boat will take tourists back to the waiting room lot 12 of Tuan Chau wharf.

Afternoon activities:

Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina. Take the bus back to Hanoi
