Ha Giang loop with Ban Gioc Waterfall and Bai Tu Long cruise

Morning Activities:

At 7.30 Leave at …….hotel in Hanoi in the morning with our guide and driver to Ha Giang Province – the Northern one in Vietnam where is famous for mountain landscapes, terrace fields and flower seasons, etc.

You will travel through Viet Tri and Tuyen Quang on Route # 2 through the famous Red River Delta region.

You will have chance to pass through many provinces and view beautiful sights. Have lunch at local food-stall.

Afternoon & Evening Activities:

You continue the trip to the most breathtaking in Vietnam. Have the chance for stopover at some places en route to take photos and chill out its beauties of villages. You will arrive in Ha Giang in the afternoon.

Because Ha Giang still requires a permit, our guide will make the permission at the small office in the town. You will have the admiring beautiful mountain scapes and pass through stunning passes, rolling mountains and valleys.

And then you will travel ahead to Khuoi My Hamlet – Phuong Do Commune to discover the unique Mossy House which created from years of year of local people. Now there is only this village has this type of house. (photo as below)
And then you will travel ahead to Quan Ba (50km more from Ha Giang town centre).

You will have chance to pass through Bac Sum Pass which is well known as 6 attractive passes in Ha Giang to conquer and then continue to Quan Ba.

You will have the admiring beautiful mountain-scapes and pass through stunning passes, rolling mountains and valleys of Heaven Gate Quan Ba, Twin Mountain in Quan Ba and visit Nam Dam Village where is famous tourism village in Quan Ba and visit the museum of Nam Dam village. Check in homestay. Have dinner at the homestay and overnight at homestay.

Morning Activities:

Have breakfast at stilt house. This morning you enjoy more time around the homestay to get the fresh air of the mountainous village.

And then you say goodbye the family, you leave Quan Ba for Dong Van. You will also have chance to pass through Tham Ma Pass which is well known as the spectacular and attracted pass in Ha Giang.

Today is as Lunar Calender is Dog date so you can have chance to visit Pho Cao Market – which only crowded on Dragon Date and Dog date to learn more of local hill people trading their product. (Or if fall on Saturday or Sunday can visit ethic market).

Next proceed the trip in Dong Van you will see imposing pine forest at a Hmong village and visit H’Mong Vuong Duc Chinh Palace or call Vua Meo Palace. This is the place of the powerful Vuong family. The palace is as the store for opium and weapons in the past and visit it will give you the glimpse of Hmong Royal life in the past. (Note if time is limited when you visit market you can skip this place so that spend time to visit Lo LO Chai Village near in Lung Cu Flag Tower)

After independence the palace was evacuated in 1950 and the descendants of this influential H’mong family now live in France and Canada.

Have lunch on the way.

Afternoon activities:

You continue the journey and visit Dong Van Rock Plateau to get its special and get more enjoyment of its beauties. Dong Van Plateau is also an area that has seen as an unique and diverse mountainous geo-ecosystem in Ha Giang.

Continue your trip to visit Tam Giac Mach Flower Garden also known as “triangle oat” to enjoy the special flower of Ha Giang on November.

And if time is permit you can conquer Lung Cu Flower Flag is situated at 1,700m above the sea level, at the summit of Rong Mountain where you can touch the north pole of Vietnam and has seen the border with China.

Continue to visit Lo Lo Chai Hmong village right below the foot of Lung Cu flag tower so that have more chance to learn about Hmong people as well as traditional village with its unique beauties.

Next you will continue down the sweeping roads until you arrive in Dong Van late afternoon. Check in hotel.

Evening activities:

Get around Dong Van ancient town, check in hotel, have dinner at local restaurant. Here is the chance for you to chill out in Dong Van. Interact with local minority people to understand more their life and culture at Dong Van town centre. Overnight at hotel.

Note: If you wish to have authentic atmosphere you can choose to homestay in Lo LO Chai village. Incase you want to see Dong Van Old Town (25km from Lo Lo Chai) you can choose overnight at Dong Van Eco Stone house so that evening can wander around old town at centre (So pls confirm where you would like to overnight at village or in Dong Van Town).

Morning Activities:

Have breakfast at homestay, if your travel date is on Sunday, you can visit the weekly Dong Van Market to meet the local minority people and buy the fascinating handmade goods and special products.

Then you will hit the road to get the experience at one of the most spectacular roads in the whole of Vietnam, especially Ma Pi Leng Pass. At the height of 2000 meters, the Ma Pi Leng Pass clings to the side of the undulating mountains which gives the spectacular views of the valleys and terraced fields. All decorate the wonderful scenery along mountainsides.

Also you have chance to have a boat trip on Nho Que River to view the beautiful scenery of mountain area.

The driver will continue drives you through zigzag down into Meo Vac Valley. Have lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon Activities:

After lunch time you continue this afternoon to Cao Bang. You arrive in Cao Bang late afternoon. Check in hotel. Have dinner at local restaurant.

Evening Activities:

Evening is the time you are free to wander around Cao Bang town and discover the night life of local people and get your own experience. Overnight at guesthouse.

Note: If your travel time is not on the Sunday market in Dong Van, you will visit Lui Market can be arranged depending on the departure date.

Morning Activities:

After breakfast, you start today to visit Ban Gioc Waterfall where is between the China-Vietnam border, 85km from Cao Bang. You will pass through attractive scenery en-route. This is the chance you take a bamboo to view the beautiful scenery of Ban Gioc waterfall – one of the largest and possibly the most impressive waterfalls of Vietnam.

Have a picnic lunch.

Afternoon & Evening Activities:

This afternoon you continue to visit Nguom Ngao, one of the largest caves in the area. It has many fascinating rock formations decorating the walls and the ceilings which make you amazing for its beauties.

After that you leave Cao Bang for Lang Son and go ahead to Bac Son Valley. En route you have a stopover for relax and get more beauties of mountain scenery. Check in homestay. Have dinner with the family. Overnight at stilt house.

Morning Activities:

After having breakfast with local family, you will travel to a nearby tile factory for visiting. This is the chance to visit this family factory which uses a very old and traditional technique to produce tiles for most of the stilt houses in this region.

Afterward you are transferred to a small valley where you will begin your engaging trekking tour. Leading by a small way, you will see a number of tranquil houses, rice fields before hiking into a big forest and surround by trees and nice breezes.

Then you’ll attain the highest and witness the whole space offered in entrance of you. It’s excessive time that you simply award yourself by breath the recent air, take photos or just relaxation in the course of Heaven and Earth.

After having fun with the magnificent scene, you’ll journey onto the subsequent valley and down the hill on buffalo path. Then the driver transfers you to where is started of conquering the Na Lay Mountain peak where you admire of the panorama views of Bac Son valley. It will amaze you with the rice fields, rivers and Tay stilt house’s roofs, water buffalos on fields is gaming grass, and see local people’s work. All make an awesome picture on your eyes.

After that, you climb down and get more discover at Dang Mo waterfall to get fresh air before returning our homestay for overnight.

Evening Activities:

You will be welcomed back by a local meal made by the host for your dinner. For the balance of the day, the local is open to any conversation to find out their rich culture. Homestay at stilt house.

Morning Activities:

• Have breakfast at the family. This morning you leave Bac Son and travel ahead to Ha Long city. It take you about 5 hours to reach Ha Long city.
• 11:30 Arrive at Dragon Pearl Junk Office, take a rest at the Waiting Lounge before transferring to Cruise.
• 11:50 – 12:15 Go to the port by a buggy, where the crew and staff will welcome you and assist with the check-in process onto the cruise.

Afternoon activities:

• 12:30 – 13:00 After boarding the cruise ship, you will enjoy tea and listen to an introduction about the itinerary and safety information for the journey, as well as check-in to your cabin.
• 13:15 Have lunch at the onboard restaurant, featuring seafood dishes from Quang Ninh. The cruise will start its journey to explore Bai Tu Long Bay, passing through limestone islands and beautiful scenery along the bay.
• 14:30 The tour guide will take you to visit Thien Canh Son Cave, where you can explore the natural beauty of the cave with unique stalactites formed over thousands of years.
• 15:00 Relax on Hon Co Beach and join a kayaking excursion to discover the limestone islands in the bay before returning to the cruise.
• 16:15 Back to the cruise and enjoy a sunset cruise on Bai Tu Long Bay.
• 17:15 Join a Vietnamese cooking class.

Evening activities

• 19:00 Rest and have dinner in a quiet and romantic atmosphere on the bay.
• 20:00 Free time to relax and you can also join the experience of squid fishing. Spend the night on Bai Tu Long Bay.

Morning activities:

• 07:00 – 07:15 Morning view of the Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Breakfast is served on the cruise.
• 07:45 Transfer by bamboo boat to visit Vung Vieng fishing village, where you can explore the unique way of life and the beautiful scenery of the fishing village amidst the natural heritage.
• 08:45 Back to the cruise for relaxation and leisure time.
• 09:45 – 10:00 Check-out and enjoy some leisure time to relax and capture memorable moments as the cruise journeys through the stunning limestone island area.
• 10:15 Enjoy a Set Menu Lunch while the cruise ship continues its journey on the bay.
• 11:30: The cruise returns to the International Port of Ha Long.

Afternoon Activities:

Our driver transfers you return Hanoi and you get back hotel in Hanoi at around 16:00. The driver drops you at your hotel in Hanoi.
