Family-friendly North Vietnam Tour and Activities

You’ll be landing in Hanoi, where you will receive a warm welcome from our English speaking guide and driver, who will take you to your hotel for check in. You’ll get a start to Vietnam to remember, with a relaxing walk through some of Hanoi’s biggest attractions. Such as; the Opera House, Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. And what better way to start an evening with a taste of authentic Vietnamese cuisine?

This is your first day, and the amazing tour Vietnam with Origin Travel team begins!

Morning activities:

After enjoy breakfast at the hotel we will visit Ba Dinh Square, site of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Also, visit Ho Chi Minh’s House on Stilts, the nearby One Pillar Pagoda and Vietnam’s Confucius Center and first university, the Temple of Literature.

Afternoon activities:

In the afternoon, proceed to Hoa Lo Prison, followed by the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, the best place to learn about Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups from the rich collections of objects, photos, video tapes and cassettes. Pay a visit to a local craftsman’s house to learn how the water puppets are made and enjoy a unique water puppet show, a favorite experience for all visitors to Vietnam and the highlight of any tour in Vietnam.

Morning activities:

Our guide & driver will pick you up from Hotel in Hanoi around 7:30 am. Then driveway to the Mai Chau Valley. It will takes about 3,5 hours. There are several stops on the way for photo opportunities. Arrive at Pom Coong village, Mai Chau around noon. Your Vietnamese lunch is served by a local family at their stilt-house.

Afternoon activities:

After lunch and rest, go for a gentle walk about 3 hours to explore the environment. Also visit some villages, rice paddies and gardens. Or you could opt to find the area by bikes with shorter time. Along the walking tour you’ll have opportunity to find out about the neighborhood life, their farming and beautiful handicrafts.

Dinner and overnight in Mai Chau.

Note: Trekking time could be flexible. You can talk with your tour guide. Also there is traditional fork lore in the evening. (Upon on request)

Morning activities:

It’s a great take a walk around the countryside when the air is fresh, the sunshine is still soft, and villagers are already on working in the fields. a drive of around 1.5 hours will bring you to Pu Luong Nature Reserve, which harbors a variety of flora and fauna, there are many bird species with specially with over 1000 listed plant species.

Afternoon activities:

After enjoy a picnic lunch, you will be transferred to Chien Lau Bridge for a leisurely hike of 5 km to admire the water mills along Cham River and take pleasure in the natural scenery here. The walk will end at Tan Lap Bridge where the transport will be ready to take you back to the eco garden, a mountain retreat, where you can chill-out, treasuring the stunning sunset over mountains and rice terraces.

Morning activities:

Welcome the sunny day with descend into the valley on a leisurely walk along trails leading through rice terraces near the Don Village, through corn fields and past some small villages, before heading back to the lodge for lunch.

Afternoon activities:

After enjoy lunch at Pu Luong, then drive to to Ninh Binh. Balance of the day is spent at your leisure after arrival. Overnight in Ninh Binh

Morning activities:

To avoid the number of tourist to visit Ninh this day (Most traveller come to Ninh Binh from Ha Noi in the morning).

Enjoy your breakfast before visiting to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital city of the Dinh & Le Dynasties. Then we continue our trip to visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, the largest pagoda complex in Vietnam. Then we have lunch at the local restaurant. Here you will have chance to enjoy Ninh Binh specialities dishes.

Afternoon activities:

After enjoy lunch, take a boat trip to experience the amazing geological, biodiversity and scenic wonder of the Trang An grottoes. Where very famous with Kong skull island movie set. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Morning activities:

Breakfast is served in the hotel. Say goodbye Halong inland. Today, we take early departure from Ninh Binh travel throughout the fertile Delta of the Red River. It will takes over 4 hours to Halong Bay. Halong Bay is among the well known and must see attractions in Vietnam. Besides being recognized as a natural world heritage. Arrive at the pier around 12.30 pm.

Afternoon activities:

• Welcome aboard and greeted with a complimentary drink. Our Crew will conduct a compulsory safety procedures session and then you are free to check into your cabin and freshen up. Take some time to have a look around the vessel or watch the magical landscape go by.
• Next you have a special lunch of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites on board. The cruise set sails to Lan Ha Bay and pass through Da Chongwhere you can see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago.
• After that when the cruise entries through Cua Van area to Lan Ha Bay (as part of Halong Bay), this area is surrounding of a lot extraordinary limestone karst landscapes. Here you start the journey to explore Ba Trai Dao beach, kayaking to immersed in the crystal clear waters of the bay and/or enjoy swimming.
• You return the main boat at 17:00 pm, and cruising to a place for staying overnight
• Happy hour with special drink menu. With program BY ONE GET ONE FREE!!!!

Evening activities:

• Join cooking demonstration is a great way to learn how to prepare Vietnamese delicious cuisines. Enjoy special Signature Dinner in restaurant on board.
• The rest is your free time to relax with an exotic cocktail or whatever takes your fancy. The bar has a wide range or wines, beers and liquors for choice to enjoy the bay in the evening.
• You can order a Spa service or take any activities on boat cruise such as watching documentary movies, squid fishing or simply relax on sundeck.

Morning activities:

• Enjoy a sunrise on Lan Ha Bay. Have a Tai Chi lesson on the top deck. Have a morning cup of tea, coffee or juice on board for morning and watch the never ending miraculous scenery unfold before you.
• Light breakfast will be served in our restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee)
• Then you will visit Dark & Bright cave and islets by local rowing boats which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage. Back to our main board afterwards.
• Check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland. After a final early brunch and a last goodbye from our crew at 11:30. Get on the tender and head back to the wharf at noon time.

Afternoon activities:

• Our tour guide & driver welcomes you at the wharf and transfers you return Hanoi city. Drop off you at hotel in Hanoi.

Free time to explore Hanoi by your own.

Your last day! And a great experience! After having a lovely journey in the North Vietnam you will have some free time to walk around Hanoi to get more experience or just relax at hotel before the driver drops you off the airport for taking flight departure Hanoi.
