Itinerary Details

Day 1: Singapore - Hanoi - Sapa. Overnight at Hotel in Sapa

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be greeted by our guide and driver holding a sign that reads “Origin Vietnam & Your Name“. They will then transfer you to Sapa. You can choose to either unwind at the hotel or take a stroll around the city to discover its charm on your own. The night will be spent at the hotel.

Day 2: Sapa Trekking to Lao Chai and Ta Van village & Homestay (B/L/D)

Morning Activities:

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Sapa town for a walking tour of the local market, providing an opportunity to experience the bustling city center and local way of life. From there, we will embark on a 3km downhill walk to Cat Cat village, home to the Hmong people. And boasting stunning terrace fields and scenic roads.

On the way to Cat Cat village, you can opt to visit Hai Vong Dai (viewing tower) for a panoramic view of Muong Hoa valley (additional charge of around $3 per person). You will also have the chance to witness a waterfall and hydroelectric station, offering picturesque views of the beginning of Cat Cat village. Trekking along a dirt trail through rice paddy terraces, you will enjoy breathtaking scenery while following a narrow river.

The trek continues through the path leading to Y Linh Ho village, home to the Black Hmong minority group. Here, you can take a short break and savor a picnic lunch.

Afternoon Activities:

Embark on a walking journey along Muong Hoa valley, leading to Lao Chai village. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the homes of the Black Hmong people and marvel at the stunning terrace fields. Continue your trek through Lao Chai village and arrive at Ta Van village, the home of the Giay people. Admire the breathtaking terrace fields that are considered the most beautiful in Sapa. Our driver will be waiting for you on the main road of Ta Van village to return you to Sapa.

Special note: Have about 10 km of trekking within 6 hours and it is rainy on July & August

Morning Activities:

Experience mountain life activities in the village, then return to Hanoi with a driver. Upon arrival, have lunch at a restaurant, check into your hotel, take a short break, and begin exploring the historic city of Hanoi.

Afternoon Activities:

Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s oldest university, which was built in 1070. The well-preserved architecture and gardens offer a peaceful glimpse into the country’s past. Then, enjoy a one-hour cyclo ride through the narrow streets and alleys of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where thousands of small businesses and shops are located. Take plenty of photos along the way.

Evening Activities:

In the evening, watch a Water Puppet show at a theater near Hoan Kiem Lake, which showcases scenes from rural life. Dinner will be served at a restaurant.

Spend your evening at leisure by exploring Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Town, shopping, and enjoying the local street food. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Tam Coc Cave – Mua Cave (or Hoa Lu Temple). O/n in Ninh Binh (B/L)

Morning Activities:

Depart from Hanoi at 8:00 AM and travel for 2.5 hours until you reach Tam Coc Tourist Spot. Here, you’ll board a sampan boat and take a scenic ride through Tam Coc, also known as “Three Caves.” A local villager will row you along a small river that winds between towering limestone cliffs, passing through three tunnel-like caves. The boat ride will last approximately two hours. Afterward, you’ll be driven to Xuan Ang Ngoai Village, where you’ll take a brief hike on a farm path to a restaurant in a secluded valley.

Afternoon & Evening Activities:

After lunch and a rest, continue hiking through the mountains, farms, and villages to take in the beautiful landscapes. Finish the day with a climb of 500 steps up to the summit of Ngoa Long Mountain at Hang Mua. From the top, you’ll be able to enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view of the karst region. If the weather is favorable, your guide will time it so you can witness a beautiful sunset from the summit. Finally, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Ninh Binh.

Day 5: Ninh Binh - Hai Phong - Lan Ha Bay. Overnight On Boat (B/L/D)

Morning Activities:

We will depart from the hotel early in the morning at 8:00 AM and embark on a 3-hour drive to reach Lan Ha Bay. At 12:00 PM, we will arrive at the wharf and board the luxurious Era Cruise (or similar) with a warm welcome from the friendly crew and a refreshing welcome beverage.

Afternoon Activities:

Once on board, our crew will conduct a compulsory safety procedures session before you have free time to check into your cabin and freshen up. You can take a quick tour of the vessel or enjoy the stunning scenery outside before indulging in a special lunch of fresh seafood with delicious appetizers at the restaurant on board.

As we set sail for Lan Ha Bay, passing by Da Chong islet where you can see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago, guests can immerse themselves in the breathtaking karst landscapes.

The Cruise will complete its entry through Cua Van area to Lan Ha Bay (as part of Halong Bay) around 3 PM. This area is surrounded by extraordinary limestone formations. Guests can explore Ba Trai Dao beach, go kayaking or swimming.

We will return to the main boat around 5 PM and head to a place for an overnight stay. Enjoy a happy hour with a special drink menu (Buy one get one for free) from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM on the cruise.

Evening Activities:

Later in the evening, you can participate in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration and learn how to prepare delicious appetizers. Your guide will lead you through the process. Afterward, enjoy a special Signature Dinner in the restaurant on board.

The rest of the time is free for you to relax and unwind. You can sip an exotic cocktail or try other beverages from the wide range of wines, beers, and liquors at the bar. You can also order a spa service or participate in other activities on the boat cruise, such as watching documentary movies or squid fishing (need to ask in advance for preparation).

Alternatively, simply relax on our rooftop deck under the star-filled sky to enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the bay at night.

Day 6: Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi & depart (B/L)

Morning Activities:

Wake up early to enjoy the fresh air and witness the breathtaking sunrise over Lan Ha Bay. Join the daily Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck to start your day off right. Afterwards, enjoy a cup of tea, coffee, or fruit juices anywhere on the boat while taking in the stunning scenery of the bay. At 7:00 am, a light breakfast will be served in the restaurant, offering pastries, tea, and coffee.

Then, take a local rowing boat to visit Dark & Bright cave and islets, which showcase the wild and mysterious beauty of this World Heritage site.

Return to the main board after the excursion, and check out of your cabin at 9:30 am. The cruise will travel back to the mainland while you enjoy a final early brunch. At 11:30 am, you will reach the ferry and board our tender to head back to the wharf where your return trip vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to Hanoi.

Afternoon Activities:

For those who have booked the shuttle bus, you will leave the pier at 12:00 pm and return to Hanoi city. You will arrive in Hanoi around 2:30 pm, marking the end of your trip in Vietnam. We wish you an enjoyable continuation of your journey.
