Phun Abyss is located in Hoa My Tay commune, Tay Hoa district, Phu Yen province, Vietnam. The abyss is more than 20km from Tuy Hoa city. And, the abyss is made up of small streams of Deo Ca, upstream of Banh Lai River.

How to get to Phun Abyss?
You can reach the abyss by car or motorbike. Follow National Highway 1A to Phu Lam town, then turn onto Highway 29 to reach Da Den Mountain. Continue along the opposite direction of the Banh Lai River to reach the upstream area. However, the last 2 kilometers from the parking lot to the edge of the abyss are challenging, requiring you to follow a rough stream, navigate many stacked cliffs, and cross a large lake.
When to is the best travel to Phun Abyss?
The amount of water flowing into the abyss from upstream is unstable, depending on rainfall, so it isn’t always possible to explore the Abyss. The best time to visit the Abyss is from January to August. During this period, Phu Yen’s weather is less rainy, making travel more convenient. Around June, the lakes in the basin are full, allowing you to experience SUP boating.
