When is the best time to visit Cong Do Area?
Halong Bay has a tropical monsoon climate. So there are 4 distinct seasons, the weather will change according to 4 different seasons.
- Spring only lasts for March & April, Ha Long tourism is the most beautiful time with cool to warm weather.
- Summer lasts from May to August with brilliant shades of blue sky and emerald water, ideal for cruising the islands in Ha Long Bay.
- In Autumn – September and October, the colours are soft like honey, long shadows and a peaceful atmosphere.
- The remaining 4 months are winter, the air is cooler, you will be immersed in the magical and mysterious beauty of Ha Long Bay. But one thing to note for you is that May to June and August to September are rainy times during the year.
How to get there?
Cong Do Island is about 23km from Tuan Chau Port, equivalent to about 2:45 am travelling by boat.
This is a site on route 4, so you can come here by purchasing tickets to route 4 and renting a sightseeing boat. Outside of this place, you will be able to visit other places on line 4. Such as: Vung Vieng fishing village; Hang Co (Thien Canh Son); Hang Thay …
However, there are usually very few cruises on this line for 4 day, arguably none. This line 4 is mostly new overnight cruises, usually 2 days 1-night tours or 3 days 2 nights.
You can also arrange to charter a private boat and buy a boat ticket line 4 to bring it here at your discretion. But this method is only applicable to groups of about 20 people or more to save costs. About 5 million or more, depending on the quality of the boat (3, 4 or 5 stars) and the accompanying services.
