Itinerary Details

Day 1: Hanoi - Moc Chau - Visit H'Mong village. O/N at homestay in Moc Chau (L/D)

Morning activities:

Our car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi, depart for Moc Chau. On the way, you will admire the natural beauty of the Northwest region.

Afternoon activities:

You will arrive in Moc Chau around noon. Check in and have lunch with typical mountain and forest dishes.

After that, the tour guide will take you to visit Hang Tau village – home to the indigenous H’Mong people. This is an isolated village, without electricity or modern technology, it will bring you a rustic and pristine experience.
If there is time, you will visit Heart Tea Hill or Plum Valley – depending on the season.

Evening activities:

Return to the homestay, watch the sunset in Moc Chau, enjoy a cozy dinner and interact with the locals. Stay overnight at the homestay in Moc Chau.

Day 2: Chieng Khoa Waterfall - White Dragon Glass Bridge. O/N at homestay in Mai Chau (B/L/D)

Morning activities:

You will have breakfast at the homestay. Then, you will move to Chieng Khoa Waterfall (or called Nang Tien Waterfall) to admire the majestic beauty of nature (note: the waterfall is most beautiful from May to December). Besides, you also have the opportunity to take photos in the buckwheat flower garden and peach blossoms around the village depend on season especially on November.
Continue the journey to the White Dragon Glass Bridge – the longest glass bridge in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

Afternoon activities:

After lunch at a local restaurant, say goodbye to Moc Chau, you will head to Mai Chau with 65km with 1,5 hour on car. On the way, you will stop at Thung Khe Pass – also known as “white spine” to see the whole Mai Chau valley, enjoy bamboo rice and shop for local products.

Evening activities:

After enjoying dinner with highland specialties. You will be free to rest and relax. Overnight at a homestay in Mai Chau.

Day 3: Trekking Kia Cave - Cycling Pom Coong Village. O/N At Homestay In Pom Coong Village (B/L/D)

Morning activities:

After breakfast at the homestay, the tour guide will take you to the White Thai village to start the 2-hour trekking journey to Kia Cave. On the way, you will admire the majestic landscape and experience the life of the indigenous people.

Afternoon activities:

You will have lunch at a local restaurant. After that, you will have a short break right on the spot.

Next, you will cycle to explore Pom Coong village – through the green rice fields, learn about traditional brocade weaving and conquer Chieu cave – the ideal place to see the whole view of Mai Chau from above.

Evening activities:

Enjoy dinner at the homestay with local specialties. Stay overnight in a peaceful space in the middle of the mountains and forests.

Day 4: Mai Chau - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Mua Cave - Ninh Binh. O/N at hotel in Ninh Binh (B/L/-)

Morning activities:

After breakfast with energy-rich dishes, you depart for Ninh Binh with distance 140km within more than 3 hours. The first stop is the ancient capital of Hoa Lu – where you will visit the temple of King Dinh, King Le and learn about the heroic history of the Vietnamese people.

Afternoon activities:

After lunch at the restaurant, you will experience a boat trip on the Ngo Dong River to explore Tam Coc – known as “Ha Long Bay on land” with charming scenery. Next, conquer more than 500 stone steps to the top of Mua Cave to see the whole view of Tam Coc from above.

Evening activities:

At the end of the day tour, you will return to your hotel in Ninh Binh, free to have your own dinner and stay overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 5: Trang An - Bai Dinh Pagoda - Return to Hanoi (B/L)

Morning activities:

Starting the day with a delicious breakfast, you will begin your journey to explore Trang An complex – a world cultural and natural heritage recognized by UNESCO. Take a bamboo boat through caves such as Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Nau Ruou Cave, … to feel the magical beauty of majestic nature.

Afternoon activities:

After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, you continue to visit Bai Dinh Pagoda – the largest pagoda in Southeast Asia with a gilded Buddha statue and the longest Arhat corridor in the area.

At the end of the trip, the driver and tour guide will take you back to Hanoi, dropping you off at your hotel around 17.30 (or can drop you off at Noi Bai airport upon request and flight is in the evening).
