Mai Chau Valley Tour Package

Morning activities:

Our guide & driver will pick you up from the Hotel in Hanoi around 7:30 am. Then driveway to the Mai Chau Valley. It will take about 3,5 hours. There are several stops on the way for photo opportunities. We will arrive at Pom Coong village, Mai Chau around noon. Your Vietnamese lunch is served by a local family at their stilt-house.

Afternoon activities:

After lunch and rest, go for a gentle walk for about 3 hours to explore the environment. Also visit some villages, rice paddies and gardens. Or you could opt to find the area by bike with a shorter time. Along the walking tour you’ll have the opportunity to find out about the neighborhood life, their farming and beautiful handicrafts.

Dinner and overnight in Mai Chau.

Note: Trekking time could be flexible. You can talk with your tour guide. Also there is traditional folklore in the evening. (Upon on request)

Morning activities:

After having breakfast, you’ll check out and say goodbye to the local host. Then take the morning scenic drive to Ninh Binh province. Ninh Binh is renowned for many beautiful attractions. Especially Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex which has been recognized as a natural and cultural heritage by UNESCO. We will arrive in Ninh Binh around noon.

Afternoon activities:

Lunch at a nearby restaurant with the regional specialties. At the mid-day, you’ll embark on a stunning sampan boat-ride at Trang An. Your boat trip will take around 3 hours. But it is well worth it as you’ll learn more about the core of the heritage.

You’ll be taken through caves which enable you to visit different flooded valleys encompassed by limestone outcrops. Then back to the meeting point where we get in the car back to the hotel. Check in & overnight in Ninh Binh.

Morning activities:

Breakfast is served in the hotel. Say goodbye to Halong inland. Today, we take an early departure from Ninh Binh and travel throughout the fertile Delta of the Red River. It will take over 4 hours to Halong Bay. Halong Bay is among the well known and must see attractions in Vietnam. Besides being recognized as a natural world heritage. Arrive at the pier around 12.30 pm.

Afternoon activities:

Get aboard and enjoy your lunch with fresh seafood while the boat is cruising in between beautiful limestone islands. There’ll be several activities for you to join in the mid-day like swimming, kayaking, and cave visiting. Dinner and overnight on a cruise in Halong Bay.

Morning activities:

If you’re an early riser, get up at dawn for clean air and join Tai Chi class when enjoying the sunrise on the sundeck. Breakfast has been served on the boat. The crews then pull the anchor and start the morning cruise to visit other portions of the bay. Also check out the cabin around 10:00. After that the brunch will be served on the way back. Our boat trip will arrive at the pier about 11:30 am.

Afternoon activities:

After saying goodbye to the crew. Then get in the car to transfer back to Hanoi. We will arrive in Hanoi around 4:00. Our trip will finish at the hotel.
