Huynh Ba Quat settled at the foot of Ngu Hanh Son mountain and discovered a cluster of marble mountains to create fine art stone works.   • In the early 19th century, the Nguyen Dynasty built many mausoleums and palaces, so the Non Nuoc stone carving village (Ngu Hanh Son Da Nang) had the opportunity to develop. Many good workers were awarded the rank of Nine and were invited to travel all over the country.
  • Currently, Non Nuoc stone carving village has more than 500 production facilities and is recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage.

9.1 Quan Am Pagoda

Quan Am Pagoda, also known as Avalokiteśvara Pagoda, is a pagoda located at the foot of Kim Son Mountain, in the Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot, Da Nang city, Vietnam. The pagoda was built in 1957, and is one of the most sacred and famous pagodas in Da Nang.

9.2 Am Phu Cave

Am Phu Cave is one of the most famous attractions of the Marble Mountains scenic complex, Da Nang. Located on the southern slope of Thuy Son mountain, the cave was formed by the erosion of rainwater and wind over millions of years. The cave is the largest in size and more complex than the cave complexes in Ngu Hanh Son.

To enter the cave, visitors must pass through the Am Duong bridge, a stone bridge spanning a small stream. The bridge has two ends, one black end represents yin, the other white end represents yang.

Inside the cave, visitors will admire a mysterious space, recreating the 9 levels of hell according to the concept of Vietnamese people. Each level of hell has different punishments for people with different sins.

9.3 Tam Thai Pagoda

Tam Thai Pagoda is the most ancient and oldest pagoda in Da Nang, located on Thuy Son mountain, one of five mountains in the Ngu Hanh Son scenic complex. The pagoda was built in the Later Le Dynasty, around 1630, and was led by Master Hung Lien from China.

Tam Thai Pagoda has unique architecture, blending Buddhist architectural style and Vietnamese folk architecture. The pagoda consists of three floors, each floor worships a different Buddha. The upper floor worships Shakyamuni Buddha, the middle floor worships Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara and the lower floor worships Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha.
