Morning activities:

Our guide & driver will pick up from Hue train station then we spend all the morning to take a boat ride on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and The Citadel where is the old Royal Palace of Nguyen King Dynasty with many construction. Learn more of how King, Queen and Royal Family live and work.

Afternoon activities:

Then, we have lunch at a nice local restaurant. We continue our journey by visiting Minh Mang Tomb lies on the west bank of Perfume River and about 12km south of Hue City center. From the tomb can view the picturesque Perfume River upfront. And Khai Dinh Tombs with different architecture in the harmony combine Western and Orient style. Shopping at Dong Ba market – the biggest one in Hue city with some special of Hue for family and relatives.

Evening activities:

Free have your own dinner and free time to enjoy the colourful night in Hue. Stay overnight in hotel in Hue.

Optional: Can make half day afternoon to Tam Giang lagoon and enjoy sunset over the lagoon with the beautiful landscapes and ecology system.

Morning activities:

Get picked up for your hotel in Hue and begin heading for the Quang Tri. You will visit: Quang Tri citadel on the bank of river Thach Han was of fierce battles during the US war in Vietnam. It became the tomb of tens of thousands of Vietnamese soldiers who sacrificed their lives for national liberation.

Discover Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River: located in 17th Parallel, was bisected between South Vietnam and North Vietnam in the war. Visit Vinh Moc tunnels where North Vietnamese guerilla fighters lived and fought. It is an underground miniature village, the largest historical tunnel in the DMZ of Vietnam. Here, you will hear some stories about the tunnels and resilience against the enemy of Vietnamese people during the war.

Afternoon activities:

Savour lunch at the restaurant. Then we continue our trip to visit Dakrong Bridge: this bridge was rebuilt in 2001 and the starting point of Ho Chi Minh Trail. Khe Sanh Combat Base: one of the most popular destination in DMZ where was a United States Marine Corps outpost south of DMZ. Currently, it hosts a small museum on base, historical pictures and weapons are shown. Visit Ta Con Old Airport for more discover of DMZ

Travel along Ho Chi Minh trail to reach Dong Hoi to enjoy overnight accommodation at a hotel in Phong Nha. Evening is your free time to experience around Dong Hoi town and enjoy as your own way.

Morning activities:

Start your morning with an invigorating kayak trip on the Chay River, where you can admire the serene and natural scenery around you or go for a swim.

Afternoon activities:

Enjoy lunch. Then continue to drive to Thien Duong Cave or Paradise Cave. The longest dry cave in Asia at a length of 19 miles (31 km), Thien Duong’s stunning display of stalagmites and stalactites creates an artistic vista that stirs the imagination.

After enjoying the cave’s beauty, return to Quang Binh before transferring back to your hotel in Quang Binh or to next destination (or you can back Hue city). Wish you a great time and experience Hue and Quang Binh trip.
