Quang Binh jungle trekking and cave tour

Morning activities:

Firstly, start your day when our driver and guide welcome you at hotel around Phong Nha from7:00 am to 7:30 am (please be present at lobby on time). Then you drive 70 km over the Da Deo Mountain Pass to reach Tan Hoa ethnic minority village and office. You can leave your entire luggage at our office in the storage room just bring necessary thing for your trip (if you arrival Dong Hoi train station in early morning).

After a safety briefing, checking gear and signing our Release Form, the day adventure begins with a 2 km walk across peanut and buffalo fields to reach the Rao Nan River.

And so you will walk across 2km peanut and buffalo fields to reach the Rao Nan River. Yes, you across the river to reach the impressive Hang Chuot (Rat Cave) to explore its impression for 280m. After that you climb over the mountain and have more trek through Hung Ton Valley to reach Hung Ton Cave. Here you will discover the wild cave by descending a 15 meter ladder together with a safety rope.

Next, you will have a swimming 50 meter through the cave and following an underground river to reach To Mo Valley. By ending this morning time, you have a delicious BBQ Lunch.

Afternoon activities:

After enjoying the wonderful swimming at the waterfall, you will trek over Hung Ton Mountain (1km) and across Hung Ton Valley (500m). Furthermore, you pass through another small hill down to Rao Nan River (500m).

Next, you finish the day crossing back over peanut and buffalo fields (2.5 km) to return the office, where a cold drink and shower will be awaiting your return. Finally, you come back your hotel at 18:30 pm after a wonderful day.

Evening activities:

You are free to have your own dinner. Wander around street along coastlines and taste local seafood as well as charm its night beauties. Overnight at hotel in Dong Hoi.

Morning activities:

Start the first day from your hotel in Phong Nha from 7:30 – 8:00 am, the driver transfers you to the office and takes 1 hour on car. From here you will learn about the safety measures, collect your gear and sign in our Release Form.

The real time starts tour at 10:30 am to leave the office for Hang Tien. It takes you the first walking distance within 1 hour trekking up and down hill as well as cross the river to follow the path lead to Hang Uy – a young dry cave. Especially it was named by one of the safety guide assistant. To discover this cave, it requires you to have a good rock scrambling skill over a sharp steep hill of 20 m up to the cave entrance. Have lunch en route

Afternoon & evening activities:

After discovery the beauties of Hang Uy, you find your way to out of the cave, and trek upriver to the camping site. It is located next to a beautiful natural jungle pool. This is also the chance to you to get the refreshing atmosphere and swim on fresh cool water. You have time for shooting beautiful photos of the sunset over the jungle.

After that you set up your camp, the porters will prepare a fulfilling BBQ dinner. Overnight at the camp.

Morning activities:

You get up early at the jungle and enjoy the fresh air in the mountain. It will give you the great impression. Have the breakfast which prepared by porter team since early. Then you will start your day by climbing over the field before reaching the beautiful cave of Hang Tien 1 after 1 hour.

At Hang Tien 1 it is about 50 m inside the entrance, lays a large chamber where the ceiling is beautifully patterned. There are two sections in the cave, one on the right is to go down which lead you to pass on the left hand will have many gour pools.

Pushing forward, you continue through most of Hang Tien 1 and up a ladder, from which the exit of Hang Tien 1 will be visible. You will exit the cave approximately at 11:00 am.

You continue the trekking through the jungle for thirty minutes; you’ll head to Hang Tien 2 where you’ll find many formations and you’ll trek about 300 m into the cave. You will back through the exit of Hang Tien 1. Enjoy a picnic lunch.

Afternoon activities:

This afternoon you will trek your return way to back the road, where cold drinks will await you. The driver welcomes you and transfers you back the office around 4:00 pm. You’ll have time to shower and change into fresh clothes before the driver transfers you heading back to your hotel in Phong Nha. Tour ends at your hotel in Phong Nha around 18:30 pm. Say goodbye after a great time of camping and trekking the forest.

Evening activities:

Free to have your own dinner. The rest of time is your free time to experience around Nhat Le Beach to enjoy fresh sea food by yourself. Overnight at hotel

After breakfast at hotel, the driver drop you off Dong Hoi train station for continue trip to or Da Nang … Hope you enjoy the trip very much. Happy travel!
