U Bo Peak is located along Highway 15, in Phu Dinh commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province, Vietnam. About 70 km west of Dong Hoi city, about 185 km northwest of Hue city and about 488 km south of Hanoi capital.

Then move to the center of Phong Nha Ke Bang tourist area and continue following Quyet Thang Street (Road 20). At Tra Ang intersection, you turn onto Ho Chi Minh street on the west branch, continuing about 40 km to reach U Bo peak.
In addition, you can also choose another route, not going to Phong Nha Ke Bang area but from the city moving to Phu Quy market intersection. Starting from Dong Hoi city, you follow Ly Thuong Kiet street, F325, Phan Dinh Phung about 7 km west and then meet the intersection with National Road 16. You continue going straight to enter Highway 16 and continue moving 3.7 km west when you come to a junction with provincial road DT563.
Then from here, you go straight to provincial road DT 563 and move on this road about 30 km southwest when you come to a junction with National Road 15. You continue going straight onto Highway 15 and travel on this road about 30 km northwest to reach the foot of U Bo mountain.
