Mekong Delta Eco-Tourism Experience

Morning activities

Our driver and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Then say goodbye to bustling Ho Chi Minh for Cai Lay. Then we will stop to take photos at Tan An amid flat rice fields. Take a boat trip to visit Cai Be floating markets. It’s amazing to see the vendors trading fruit and other necessaries on their boat. Then we go to our lovely Eco-lodge where we will stop for lunch also overnight.

Afternoon activities

Have a delicious lunch with typical delicacies of Mekong Delta including fresh river food served in the heart of the gardens of the scenic Mekong Lodge Riverside Restaurant. Then our trip continued to walk through small villages to visit fruit plantations, handicraft villages or just relax at a lovely eco-resort. It’s very special to join a cooking class and enjoy your dinner. Overnight at the Eco lodge resort.

Morning activities

Afterwards, we enjoyed breakfast at Eco lodge. Then we transfer back to Cai Be by boat. Depart for Cao Lanh. Where we will visit Xeo Quit base – a former Viet Cong base. Enjoy a boat cruise around the swamps and the forest.

Afternoon activities

After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, leave for Chau Doc. Check in on arrival. Visit Sam Mountain and the carved pagoda. It’s great to enjoy the sunset over the Vietnamese-Cambodian Frontier. Dinner by yourself, free as your leisure. Overnight at a hotel in Chau Doc.

Morning activities

After breakfast at the hotel, we will take a boat trip to visit a floating fish farm as well as a Cham weaving village. Then our tour continued to Tra Su cajuput forest. This is the most highlight of our Eco tour Mekong delta which is renowned for not only its almost-untouched natural beauty. But also its sanctuary of flora and fauna.

What could be more memorable is to take a boat trip into the forest. You will immediately feel like you are harmonizing with nature because of all of the impressive pictures of cajuput. Especially standing from the observation post, where you can overlook the forest with an area of nearly 900 ha, home of many birds and animals, including some rare ones.

Afternoon activities

Having lunch in the forest is a great experience for all nature lovers. Take a break on a hammock or experience Monkey Bridge. Then we returned to HCM. Our 3 day in Mekong Delta will finish around 17:30 at the Hotel. End of service
