Your Can Gio Biosphere Reserve Tour Experiences (L)
Morning activities:
At 8.00 am our guide and driver welcome you at hotel in Ho Chi Minh and transfer to Can Gio. It takes you more than 2 hours on car to reach the forest.
First of all, you will cross Binh Khanh ferry where you can observe the dense mangrove forest while travelling. Can Gio is slowly being rebuild after destroyed by the war and then in 2000, UNESCO granted the status of biosphere reserve. Now, Can Gio is one of the attractions for discover and relax very close Ho Chi Minh City.
And then you reach Monkey Island where you will spend time to visit Can Gio Museum. Continually, you visit Mangrove Forest Park Fauna Conservatory where you can see many animals. Such as saltwater crocodiles, wild cats, otters, pythons, deer and wild monkeys which likes to play with visitors.
After that you will take canoe to visit Mangrove Forest Ecosystem and Rung Sac Guerilla Base for more discovers and experience.
When visiting here you can hear about the history of Vietnam War. Guide will tell you about the lives, history of Can Gio and battles of the Base and around 860 soldiers fell down here during the War.
Have lunch at restaurant. During the lunch time you can have the resting, a chance to relax on the swimming pool. You can order the fresh seafood (additional charge at your own expense) or you can relax and swim on the beach
Afternoon activities:
Continue the trip in Can Gio to visit Whale tomb where worships the Whale carcass at Can Thanh town to learn more of the local culture to this sea animal from local people.
After that our driver and guide take you to return Ho Chi Minh city. Spend again 2 hours on car to reach back Ho Chi Minh city around 17.00 pm.
