Ninh Binh and Pu Luong trekking tour 3 days 2 nights

Morning activities:

Our private car and tour guide will pick you up in Hanoi, depart for Ninh Binh and the travel time is about 2 hours. The first stop is the ancient capital of Hoa Lu – the first capital of Vietnam in the 10th century. You will visit the temples of King Dinh and King Le and learn about the heroic historical imprints of the Vietnamese people that are still preserved.

Afternoon activities:

After enjoying lunch with local specialties, you will take a bamboo boat down the Ngo Dong River, exploring Tam Coc – “Ha Long Bay on land” with the peaceful scenery of rice fields and majestic limestone mountains.

Next, you will conquer nearly 500 stone steps to the top of Hang Mua, the ideal place to see the whole view of Tam Coc from above and record impressive moments.

Evening activities:

At the end of the first day of sightseeing, you will check into a luxurious homestay or eco-lodge in the Tam Coc area. Free to have your own dinner. Overnight at hotel/homestay in Ninh Binh.

Morning activities:

Start the day with a delicious breakfast at your accommodation. Then, check out and head to Pu Luong National Park – a famous nature reserve in Thanh Hoa with a travel time of about 3.5 hours. On the way, you will stop to take photos at a high place with a view of the vast valley.

The trekking journey starts from Kho Muong village, you will cross bamboo forests, terraced fields and Thai ethnic villages. With a distance of about 6-8km, it is suitable for people with average physical strength.

Afternoon activities:

After lunch at the traditional stilt house, you will continue trekking to Nua village – a place with strong Thai ethnic culture. Here, you have the opportunity to learn about the life and customs of the local people. Or enjoy unique mountain cuisine and immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of the highlands.

Evening activities:

After finishing the exciting activities of the second day, you will check in at a homestay or eco-lodge amidst the wild and poetic nature. Then, you will enjoy dinner prepared by the locals and can participate in cultural exchanges with the indigenous community. Overnight at a homestay in Pu Luong.

Morning activities:

After breakfast with dishes rich in the flavor of the mountains and forests, you will participate in a short trek of about 2-3km along the terraced fields, through small bamboo bridges and quiet forest roads. The highlight of the trip is visiting the traditional water wheel – a typical symbol of the life of the Northwestern people. It serves both irrigation and is an ideal check-in point amidst the idyllic scenery.

Afternoon activities:

After lunch at a local restaurant with a poetic mountain view. You will be driven and guided back to Hanoi. At the end of the tour with wonderful memories, you will return to the original pick-up point or the airport (upon request).
