Pu Luong Nature Reserve tours with Origin Vietnam team: It is an outstanding beautiful area in Northern Vietnam. It is located in Quan Hoa and Bai Thuoc district of Thanh Hoa Province and 160km from Hanoi capital city and takes 4 hour drive north-west of Hanoi. It was establish in 1999 with the total area of 17,662 ha, ¾ of this nature reserve is primary tropical jungle. Here is also the living place of hill tribe people of Muong and Thai. The name Pu Luong as Thai language means the highest peak of the village. Pu Luong Nature Reserve has the border with Hoa Binh province at district of Tan Lac, Mai Chau and Lac Son. There are several settlements of hill tribe people and a large area of agricultural land which don’t include within the nature reserve.
Pu Luong has a great biodiversity and diversity of flora and fauna, especially very closely with Cuc Phuong National Park 25 km in the south-east.
Pu Luong Nature Reserve tours becomes the famous and great destination for trekking trip from Hanoi city. It offers the time for trekking in the forest and have chance to see rice fields. Visitor can also make cycling around the reserve to visit many beautiful villages or trekking through villages to get more experience of hill tribe life and forest. When is the best time to visit Pu Luong Nature Reserve
June or October is the most beautiful time of Pu Luong: when rice is fully ripe on the terraced fields on the hillside.
If you cannot come to Pu Luong in June or October. You can also come here in any season of the year to relax with a cool, year round, foggy space. Especially joint to ethnic minorities culture.
