The water in Ba Be Lake boat tour is very clean, fresh and safe. However, Ba Be lake is 35m at the deepest point so the best place for you to swim is at Widow island with 18 m of deep, where you can jump down from a height of 5m. Ba Be National Park is far from Hanoi city more than 230km and need 4.5 hours on car. Therefore, we first recommend travel on private car to active in everything. You can travel by local bus or shuttle bus with price around 15 USD/ticket/way and takes 5 hours on road with standard condition transport.
Where should we travel first in Ba Be Lake and Ban Gioc waterfall tour?
Ba Be Lake and Ban Gioc waterfall needs at least 3 days for travel. And you travel to Ba Be Lake first or Cao Bang first all are ok. Because with this trip you will make a round journey so if you choose Cao Bang first you will overnight at Quang Uyen first. And if you choose Ba Be lake first you go direct to Ba Be for overnight.
