Night 1 Monday night: Escorted by Origin Vietnam’s driver to train station to take night train to Lao Cai

Morning activities

Arrive Lao Cai you will meet Origin Vietnam tour guide then enjoy breakfast. Then drive from Lao Cai to Coc Ly market (2hrs) where situated between stunning mountains by the Chay River. Every Tuesday morning, the local people from the surrounding ethnic villages. Such as Flower H’mong, Phu La and Dao gather to sell and buy their products. Having explored the market. Come here you will have a boat trip to Flower H’mong village of Na Nen. Before trek to Trung Do village, the home of Tay minority people.

Afternoon activities

Enjoy the picnic lunch in local house with Tay people. From there you can travel by boat down the river and experience the magnificent sight of the beautiful river banks. You will be picked up in Bao Nhai village and drive uphill to Sa Pa. Overnight in Sa Pa.

Morning activities

After breakfast at the hotel we depart from Sa Pa town by car to Lao Chai village, following the road down the hill. Views of the Muong Hoa valley and magnificent surroundings of mountains and rice terrace fields can be seen from this road. Along the road, people from many ethnic groups (H’mong, Zay, and Red Dao) are likely to be met. Also there are stalls along the way that serve tea, fruits…. Soon after turning off the main road and taking a local path. We will arrive in the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai, where you will experience the daily life of the villagers. After that, we walk from Lao Chai to Ta Van village, where the Zay hill tribes live. Here you take a rest and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by your local guide in a local house.

Afternoon activities

After lunch you trek up and downhill. Specially you will trek through bamboo forest then relax beside the waterfall. It’s the best way to explore the Red Dao village of Giang Ta Chai, where you will also have the chance to see their daily life activities. In the afternoon the car will pick you up for the return to Sa Pa. Overnight in Sa Pa.

Morning activities

After enjoy breakfast at the hotel we will check out hotel and leave Sa Pa, trekking to Suoi Ho village to see tea plantations and cardamom gardens. Follow the buffalo trails to visit the hospitable villages of the Black Hmong minority people in Ma Tra. After passing a school and scenic views enroute, a picnic lunch will be served.

Afternoon activities

After lunch we continue our trek to Ta Phin village to visit Red Dao people and handicraft shops. In the afternoon we will reach the road where your driver is waiting to transport you back to Lao Cai station to catch the night train back to Ha Noi.
