Ninh Binh Trekking & Eco Tour: Cuc Phuong, Bai Dinh, Trang An – 4 Days

Morning activities:

Origin Vietnam’s car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi, depart for Cuc Phuong National Park – the first and most famous primeval forest in Vietnam, home to thousands of rare plants and animals.

The first stop is the Primate Rescue Center – a place to preserve endangered primates. Continuing to the center of the national park, you will begin your trekking journey through the forest to visit the Prehistoric Man Cave and Thousand-Year-Old Tree – a majestic symbol of the old forest.

Afternoon activities:

After a picnic lunch under the shade of ancient trees, the group continues trekking through winding ups and downs of the forest for about 6 hours. At the end of the journey, you will arrive at Khanh village – home to the Muong people in a peaceful valley in the middle of the deep forest.

Evening activities:

Join the night forest exploration activity (19:00 – 22:00):

• Learn about nature conservation, observe fireflies, and rare animals such as civets, wild cats, otters, etc.
• Explore the mysterious nocturnal forest ecosystem.

Then, enjoy dinner with the locals and stay overnight in a traditional stilt house in Cuc Phuong.

Morning activities:

Wake up in the fresh nature, have breakfast with a local family. Walking around the village to learn about the daily life of the Muong people in the green forest.

After saying goodbye to the host, you continue trekking 4km to the main road and set off to conquer May Bac Peak – a spectacular high point in Cuc Phuong National Park.

Afternoon activities:

After having a picnic lunch on the way, you will continue trekking to the top of May Bac with a route of about 4km, including a 600m long rocky road that is quite challenging but extremely impressive. When reaching the top of the mountain, you will admire the panoramic view of Cuc Phuong old forest and enjoy the cool air in the middle of pristine nature.

Evening activities:

At the end of the journey, the car will pick you up to return to Ninh Binh city, check in to the hotel, have dinner and rest at the hotel in Ninh Binh.

Morning activities:

After an energetic breakfast at the hotel restaurant, you will visit Bai Dinh Pagoda – one of the largest Buddhist centers in Southeast Asia. Admire the gilded bronze Buddha statue, the longest Arhat corridor in the area and unique architecture bearing the mark of history – spirituality.

More visiting at Van Long Nature Reserve where you will have a chance to see wild animals as well as enjoy the peacefulness of natural beauties.

Afternoon activities:

After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, you continue your journey to visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu – which was once the capital of Dai Co Viet. Here, you will visit the temples of King Dinh and King Le and listen to the heroic stories of the Vietnamese people during the country’s founding period.

Evening activities:

You will have dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight at a hotel in Ninh Binh.

Morning activities:

Start the day with a delicious breakfast, then you will move to Trang An Scenic Complex – a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage.
Sitting on a bamboo boat, you will glide through the magical cave system such as Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Nau Ruou Cave, … in the poetic space of charming mountains and rivers.

Afternoon activities:

Have lunch at a local restaurant and you have a short rest on the spot.
You continue the trip to discover the amazing scenery in Ninh Binh at Mua Cave. To visit and conquer its summit, it requires you to have climb to nearly 500 steps and from here you can get the panoramic view of Ngo Dong River and can see Tam Coc cave from high place.

Then, our guide and driver will take you back to Hanoi. End the journey with wonderful memories.
