Day 1: Hanoi - Explore Van Long Nature Reserve - Thung Nham Bird Garden. O/N in Ninh Binh (L)
Morning Activities:
Depart from Hanoi to Ninh Binh with 1,5 hours by car and 120km on highway. The first destination that you cannot miss in the journey to explore Ninh Binh is Van Long Nature Reserve. This is the largest wetland nature reserve in the Northern Delta of Vietnam.
Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve has an area of over 3,500 hectares with about 1,000 beautiful caves, many large caves with valuable natural landscapes and geomorphology. When you come here, you can experience a gentle boat ride on the wetlands, watching storks, herons and many other species of birds.
Afternoon Activities:
After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, you will have a short rest on the spot. Continuing the journey, our tour guide will take you to visit Thung Nham Bird Garden. In addition, Thung Nham Bird Sanctuary is located in the middle of the cool Tien Lake, with an area of about 18 hectares. The lake here is very poetic, always clear in all 4 seasons.
In particular, this is also an ideal place for the whole family to explore the wild nature and admire hundreds of bird species. When night falls, your family will enjoy dinner with local specialties. After that, you will check in to the hotel to relax and stay overnight.
