Muong Lo Valley Tour

Morning activities

Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi. Then the time for us to say goodbye bustling city of Hanoi and travel through route 32 to Son Tay Town. In Son Tay, visit the old village of Duong Lam at which you can learn about the village life of the Vietnamese people from the past and their historical architecture.

We visit Mia Pagoda with well preserved architecture from the 17th century. Then follow a country road passing through Thanh Son and Tan Son districts in Phu Tho Province. There are a lot of photo opportunities where one can catch the stunning landscapes of mountains, rice fields, tea plantations.

Afternoon activities

We have lunch end route at Thu Cuc. Then continue our experience Khe pass – a top mountain between Yen Bai and Phu Tho. Stop for taking in the splendid nature on the pass. Then take the mountain road to Muong Lo Valley. Arriving in our Thai host family in the afternoon, check-in and enjoy some drink green tea. Then you may have free time to walk around the village or you might like to swim in a hot-spring Outside Nghia Lo Town. There is a chance for you to find out how to cook Thai food with our guests at the early day. Overnight in the Thai family.

Full day activities

Breakfast at the family. More visits to villages in the Muong Lo Valley and historic sites. Lunch at the family. Road trip back to Hanoi. On the way back you might like to remember your experience and also have a good comparison of village life from the lowland and in the mountains. We arrive in late afternoon.
