Tour Halong Bay and Bac Son Valley

Morning activities:

To begin the trip, you’ll be picked up from the hotel in Hanoi at 8.00 AM. The four hour drive, through beautiful coastal land of the Red River Delta, takes you to Halong City. Where you’ll embark a cruise ship for an overnight cruise trip in Halong Bay. Halong Bay has been known as the world legacy twice and is really a spectacular secluded bay with thousands of limestone islands.

Afternoon activities:

Board your cruising vessel and have lunch as you cruise among the dramatic limestone karsts to the wonderful landscape of the World Natural Wonder. Visit a cave full of magnificent stalactites and stalagmites, go swimming, paddling kayak and also take part in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration or just simply unwind on the sun deck at sunset.

Evening activities:

In the afternoon, the crews will drop the anchor for the night at a spot encompassed by many beautiful islands. Dinner and overnight on the boat.

Morning activities:

Get up for the clean air on the top deck with a cup of hot coffee/tea if you want or you could stay longer in your cottage until breakfast time. Following the breakfast, you’ll have a further cruise to other portions of Halong Bay and get on the tender to visit a fishing village, then learn how a fisherman makes a living on the water. Enjoy a wholesome brunch prior to getting back to harbor at noon.

Afternoon & Evening activities:

Then, get back on to your private vehicle for the mid-day scenic drive to Bac Son Valley. Arrive at Quynh Son village, check in to a local home of the ethnic Tay people for dinner and homestay tonight.

Morning activities:

Following the neighborhood breakfast, we’ll get a short walk to visit a local workshop. Where you may get acquainted with how villagers create stilt house’s roof tiles, bricks and see how they burn the tiles in easy kilns. Get dropped in a rear road for trek into the tranquil valley. The scenery along the trek can also be amazing. Your personal vehicle will pick you up around noon on the other end of the trek and take you back to the home for lunch and rest.

Afternoon activities:

Continue on the adventure with a short stroll at the base of the phone station mountain. From here, you’ll start hiking up to the peak of the mountain to get a magnificent panorama view of Bac Son Valley. This is wonderful and a fantastic location for photographers and it’s worth following a hard working hike for everyone. Get back in your car about 4: 00 PM for the drive back to Hanoi.
