Itinerary Details

Day 1: Ha Giang - Quan Ba - Yen Minh - Dong Van (Meals: L/D)

Distance: ~90–100 km

Highlights: Heaven Gate, Fairy Bosom Mountain, karst landscapes, ethnic villages

Morning activities

Our guide picks you up in Ha Giang City. Start the loop by riding toward Quan Ba.

Along the way, you will stop at:

Bac Sum Pass – your first curvy mountain road
Quan Ba Heaven Gate Viewpoint
Fairy Bosom (Twin Mountains) – iconic limestone formation
Nam Dam village (optional cultural stop)

Afternoon activities

Continue the ride toward Yen Minh, passing green pine forests and terraced valleys.

After lunch, follow the rugged but scenic road to Dong Van Ancient Town, located in the heart of the UNESCO geopark.

Check into your homestay/hotel in Dong Van.

Evening activities

Stroll around the old quarter, try local dishes, or enjoy a cup of warm tea.

Overnight in Dong Van.

Day 2: Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Meo Vac - Du Gia (Meals: B/L/D)

Distance: ~100 – 120 km

Highlights: Skywalk trail, Ma Pi Leng viewpoint, Tu San Canyon, Meo Vac, waterfalls

Morning activities

Today is the highlight of your Ha Giang adventure.

Depart Dong Van and ride along the legendary:

Ma Pi Leng Pass – The King of All Mountain Roads in Vietnam

Stop at:

Sky Path (Skywalk) viewpoint
Tu San Canyon overlook
Panorama pass photoshoot spots

Optional activity:

Nho Que River Boat Trip (extra fee) – glide through the deepest canyon in Vietnam.

Afternoon activities

Continue toward Meo Vac town for lunch, then ride the winding mountain road to Du Gia, a peaceful Tay minority village famous for its rice terraces and waterfalls.

Evening activities

Enjoy dinner and a traditional experience at the local homestay.

Overnight in Du Gia.

Day 3: Du Gia - Lung Tam - Ha Giang (Meals: B/L)

Distance: ~90 – 110 km
Highlights: Waterfalls, weaving villages, green valleys

Morning activities

After breakfast, visit:

Du Gia Waterfall (optional swim)
Local Tay ethnic villages

Then begin the final stretch back to Ha Giang.

Afternoon activities

Stop at:

Lung Tam Linen Weaving Village
Panoramic mountain viewpoints

Arrive back in Ha Giang City around 4:00 – 5:00 PM. Tour ends with unforgettable memories.
