Ha Giang 4 Day Itinerary

Fullday activities:

Morning pick-up from your hotel and travel out Hanoi Capital City to North Province for the scenic drive to Ha Giang with approximately 7 hours to reach Ha Giang (now belong to Tuyen Quang Province).

Stop en route for lunch in Tuyen Quang.

Afternoon you arrive in Ha Giang city, and first of all you will be completed the permission procedure for border area travel.

And then you continue driving through a peaceful town surrounded by pine forests.

• Duong Thuong viewpoint where you can view the beauties of the mountain landscapes and walk around the narrow roads to enjoy its amazing scenery. This is Still wild and deserted, not many tourists know about it which is great for those who love less touristic and harmony with nature.
• Lung Ho viewpoint – Perched on a mountain pass between Mau Due and Du Gia, Lung Ho reveals a stunning panorama of towering conical peaks rising in the distance. These uniquely shaped mountains are a defining feature of the region’s dramatic karst landscape.

Check in homestay. Have dinner with the family and share their local culture.

Overnight in Yen Minh.

Fullday activities:

Have breakfast at homestay with local food. This morning you say goodbye the household and continue your trip around Yen Minh. Visit Rice terraces in Du Gia – it is not famous and amazing in Hoang Su Phi or Mu Cang Chai but rice field in Du Gia is also nice to enjoy the local scenery which make you pleasure by nature.

Continue visit Du Gia waterfall – One of the highlights of the Loop, the waterfall is around 2 km from the center where is an ideal place to cool off after a long ride. Its clear, deep natural pool invites a refreshing swim, while the surrounding forest creates the feeling of a secluded paradise.
After that you continue your trip to Meo Vac and make a visiting Pa Vi Hmong village to discover more of this traditional village and their cultures.

Go ahead Ma Pi Leng Pass and enjoy the amazing scenery at one of the top pass in Vietnam and take a boat trip on Nho Que River. It is offering jaw-dropping views of the Nho Que River canyon.

Here is also the great chance for your to have the boat ride on the Nho Que River for a closer look at the towering cliffs.

Check in homestay. Have dinner with the family and overnight in Meo Vac.

Special note: If you reach Yen Minh on Sunday you can visit Yen Minh Sunday market where you can see local minority people trade their products as traditional way.

Fullday activities:

Have breakfast at homestay. If today is Sunday, you will visit the colorful Dong Van Market.

This morning you drive you visit Lo Lo Chai village – the ancient one right in the foot of Lung Cu Flag Tower and then conquer the flag tower to get the view of the North Pole of Vietnam.

After that our guide and driver transfer you through the spectacular Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark, a UNESCO site of limestone peaks and deep valleys.

You will have chance to stop at Lung Cam Cultural Village (the filming site of “The Story of Pao”) which is famous of Vietnam film and discover the special of this village.

Continue your trip to Sa Phin village and visit the historic H’mong King’s Palace (Vuong Family Mansion) as well as learn more its history.

Have also the chance to pass through Tham Ma Pass or call Chin Khoanh Pass and get its amazing landscapes of this famous pass in Ha Giang.

Arrive in Quan Ba, explore the Nam Dam village. Check in homestay. Have dinner at the family.

Overnight in Quan Ba.

Morning activities:

Morning walk to Nam Dam village (Dao ethnic group) to experience local culture and daily life. You will visit Lung Tam weaving village to discover the traditional village in Quan Ba.

Continue to leave Quan Ba to Ha Giang and pass through Twin Mountain, Heaven Gate, and Bac Sum Pass to back Ha Giang City.

And when you still have time in the morning you can visit more Thon Tha village to enjoy more the authentic village in Ha Giang.

Afternoon activities:

Have lunch at restaurant.

In the afternoon you will leave Ha Giang and return Hanoi. You spend around 7 hour by car to reach Hanoi. You will reach Hanoi around 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
