Off-road Ha Giang motorbike tour itinerary

The night before: Night shuttle bus Ha Noi – Ha Giang city (300km)​

The bus picks up from your hotel around Ha Noi at 19:00 PM – 20:30 PM the sleeping bus will leave Ha Noi. You spend a full night on the bus and overnight on the bus.

You will reach Ha Giang at 3:30 AM, check in a hostel in Ha Giang city in a few hours for relaxing after a night on the bus before the tour starts.

At 3.30 am you reach Ha Giang and have a short rest at the hostel (4 hours) for a fresh after a night on the bus.

Morning activities

At 8:00 am our guide then get breakfast at a local restaurant in Ha Giang city. And then you start to have a trip with our guide at 8:30 am. You will drive a motorbike by yourself to discover Ha Giang Province.

You will pass through these sites:

• Bac Sum Pass
• Quan Ba Heaven gate
• Quan Ba Twin mountains
• Can Ty Pass
• Rice terraces in Yen Minh

Have Lunch break in Yen Minh town

Afternoon activities:

You continue to ride your motorbike

• Drive through the local villages of the tribes with no tourists (if motorbike tour )
• Tham Ma Pass
• 09 circles Pass
• The Hmong King’s Palace
• Check in homestay of Hmong people in Dong Van

Have dinner with Hmong family and enjoy some corn wine ( Happy water of Hmong people). Evening is your free time to discover Dong Van Old Town in your own way. Overnight at homestay

Morning activities

Have breakfast at a hotel/homestay. You will spend today on motorbike to discover around Dong Van.

Note: If you reach Dong Van on Sunday you can visit Sunday Dong Van market to enjoy the diversity of ethnic people cultures.

Today you will make a visiting to Lung Cu Flag pole, Khe Lia Panorama view, The fence between Vietnam and China, North pole, Flower Lo Lo people village, Dong Van ancient French fortress ( do hiking 01 hour ). Have Lunch at local restaurant in Dong Van ancient town.

Afternoon activities

This afternoon you continue to travel ahead Meo Vac and visit Sky Pass, Ma Pi Leng Pass ( one of the four most beautiful pass of in Ha Giang and Vietnam), Hmong villages along the way. Arrive in Meo Vac late afternoon, Check in the hotel in Meo Vac. Have dinner at a family or local restaurant.

Overnight at homestay

Morning activities

Have breakfast at homestay. This morning you will visit Meo Vac market Sunday market (if reach here on Sunday). Visit The local ethnic villages along the way. And then you drive through the local villages, The M Slope. Have Lunch break in Mau Due village.

Afternoon activities

This afternoon you keep travel ahead to Du Gia village and discover some visiting sites as below:

• Sa Li Pass
• Green tea forest
• Rice terraces in Ngam La
• Ancient French fortress in Duong Thuong
• Lung Ho Viewpoint
• Du Gia waterfall

Check in homestay of the Tay ethnic in Du Gia village. Have dinner at the family and overnight at homestay.

Morning activities

Have breakfast at homestay. This morning you will be with our guide and discover around Du Gia village with mountains views.

• Visit Du Gia market ( on Saturday if travel this day)
• Ancient Opium valley in Duong Thuong
• Duong Thuong viewpoint
• Lung Tam village ( the Hemp weaving village of Hmong people )

And then you will Have lunch break on the way

Afternoon activities

Afternoon you continue your trip to discover more:

• Thai An Heaven Gate
• Waterfall along the way
• Thon Tha a very beautiful traditional village of Tay people
• Nui Cam coffee (the city viewpoint where you can see the panoramic view of Ha Giang city)
• You reach Ha Giang city at 17:00 PM and finish the motorbike trip in Ha Giang.

Free to have your own dinner. And then at 19.30 pm – 20.30 pm you take the night bus back to Hanoi. The bus will pick you up to go back to Ha Noi. You will reach Hanoi at 4:00 AM next morning and end the tour.
