Tour Ba Be Lake And Bac Son Valley

Morning activities:

Leave your hotel in Hanoi at 7.30 am and start Bac Son tour with a drive that takes us nearly 4 hours, through the fertile Red River Delta. You travel through Thai Nguyen City. The scenery along the way is beautiful with rice and other cereal fields, dotted with stilt-house villages which amaze you. Our guide will show you some stops on the way for taking photographs.

You will visit the Ethnology Museum for more knowledge of nations in Vietnam. Arrive in Bac Son at noon time. Have lunch with a local family.

Afternoon activities:

This afternoon you will conquer the Na Lay Mountain peak where you admire the panorama views of Bac Son valley. It will amaze you with the rice fields, rivers and Tay stilt house’s roofs, water buffalos on fields of gaming grass, and see local people’s work. All make an awesome picture on your eyes.

After that, you climb down and return to our homestay overnight. You will be welcomed back by a local meal made by the host for your dinner. For the balance of the day, the locals are open to any conversation to find out their rich culture. Homestay at stilt house.

Morning activities:

After having breakfast with a local family. Then we leave Bac Son for Ba Be Lake. With a distance of 163 km and 3.3 hours by car, it will give you more chances to see beautiful landscapes and spectacular mountain scenes. Arrive in Ba Be at noon time. Have lunch at a local food stall.

Afternoon activities:

This is a great time to discover the biggest lake in Vietnam by boat. Then spend a visit to Dau Dang waterfall, Puong cave. Have dinner with the family. Homestay in Pac Ngoi village with Tay ethnic minority.

Optional: In the evening you can enjoy Tay traditional music performance and the fee is additional charge based on you sharing with other people or having a private.

Have breakfast with the family. This morning our guide and driver take you to leave Ba Be lake for visiting ATK Bac Kan. ATK is “An Toan Khu”, meaning “Safety Zone”. It was constructed during the revolution against the French. ATK is a complex of underground tunnels and rooms emboldened by a missile defense system in Cho Don of Bac Can.
