Day 1: Lao Cai arrival - transfer to Sapa - Trek Lao Chai - Giang Ta Chai & Ta Van village. Homestay In Ta Van ~ 10 Km (B/L/D)
Night 1: Night train on AC soft sleeper coach 4 berths Hanoi – Lao Cai & Overnight on train
At 20.00 our guide and driver drop you off Hanoi Train Station for taking night train Hanoi to Lao Cai. Spending your night on train cabin AC soft sleeper coach 4 berths (or can uograde with extra charge for VIP cabin 2 berths only).
Morning activities:
At 5.30 – 6.00 our guide and driver welcome you at Lao Cai train station and transfers you to Sapa town. Have a cabin for shower after a night on train. Have breakfast at local food stall/restaurant.
Then leave Sapa town in the morning our guide and driver transfer you on the main road to reach Lao Chai village where you start your trekking route around 8 – 10km through villages.
More trekking route to Lao Chai – another Hmong village and have more time to view the spectacular terrace fields on Muong Hoa valley. Pass through soil path and experience the local life and landscapes.
And then you will get the amazing view and scenery of terrace rice field in the valley while you trek from Lao Chai to Ta Van village.
Continue the trip with hiking through Giang Ta Chai village and pass through the bamboo forest and get the stunning view for the beautiful scenery.
Afternoon & evening activities:
Have a picnic lunch on the way.
In the afternoon you reach Ta Van village and have a visit Giay minority people who normally set up their village close the river for fishing. Nowadays, you can see Giay people work on the fields and grow vegetables and harvest rice.
Check in homestay and have dinner with the family. Evening is the time you can talk, meet and interact with the local people and learn more of their work and cultures. Overnight at stilt house.
Homestay in Ta Van village – share long house with mattress and pillow as traditional house for authentic experience.
