At 8.00 am our driver and guide welcome you at hotel in Hanoi and transfer you to Halong city. Spend 3 hours on car to reach Halong (you have 15 minutes break on the way after 2 hours drive for relax and toilet). You will arrive in Halong around 11.30 am.

Afternoon activities

• 12:00 Arrive in Hon Gai pier and boarding operations

• 06:30 Practice one of the oldest traditions of East Asia: Tai Chi – A beautiful and relaxing experience on the open deck. Tea and coffee are served.
• 07:00 Light breakfast is served.
• 07:30 Explore Thien Canh Son cave in Bai Tu Long Bay. Witness its beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Note: there are about 200 steps to get up to the cave.
• 09:00 Check out time. Please put your luggage outside the cabin and the key at the reception desk. Our staff will transfer your luggage into our lounge for you. Bill settlement at the reception desk.
• 09:30 Brunch is served at the restaurant on the 2nd deck.
• 10:45 The boat arrives to the pier.

After your wonderful time in Halong Bay our driver and guide welcome you at the harbor and transfer you to Bac Son. Spend full afternoon on car to reach Bac Son. Check in homestay. Have dinner with family & overnight at homestay. Homestay in Bac Son.

Morning activities

After having breakfast with local family, you will travel to a nearby tile factory for visiting. This is the chance to visit this family factory which uses a very old and traditional technique to produce tiles for most of the stilt houses in this region.

Afterward you are transferred to a small valley where you will begin your engaging trekking tour. Leading by a small way, you will see a number of rice fields with tranquil houses, before hiking into a beautiful forest.

After breakfast at the family, this morning you leave Bac Son and go ahead to Cao Bang and through Lang Son. En route you have a stopover for relax and get more beauties of mountain scenery. You visit Nguom Ngao cave, one of the largest caves in the area. It has many fascinating rock formations decorating the walls and the ceilings which make you amazing for its beauties. Then we have lunch at local restaurant

This afternoon you start today to visit Ban Gioc Waterfall where is between the China-Vietnam border, 85km from Cao Bang. You will pass through attractive scenery en-route. This is the chance you take a bamboo to view the beautiful scenery of Ban Gioc waterfall – one of the largest and possibly the most impressive waterfalls of Vietnam. Check in homestay. After breakfast at stilt house, you leave Cao Bang for Meo Vac and spend time on car to see spectacular view of mountain. You will hit the road to get the experience at one of the most spectacular roads in the whole of Vietnam, especially Ma Pi Leng Pass. At the height of 2000 meters, the Ma Pi Leng Pass clings to the side of the undulating mountains which gives the spectacular views of the valleys and terraced fields. All decorate the wonderful scenery along mountainsides. The driver will continue drives you through zigzag down into Meo Vac Valley. Have lunch at local restaurant.

This afternoon you continue to Dong Van, Next you will then climb up above the town to Pu Lo- a French fortress built in 1890 and kept in great condition. From here, you explore and see the fortress as well as enjoy the incredible views. Visit Dong Van Rock Plateau to get its special and get more enjoyment of its beauties. Check in hotel/homestay. Have dinner at local restaurant.

Evening is the time you are free to wander around Dong Van town and discover the night life of local people and get your own experience. Overnight in Dong Van. Homestay in Dong Van (or can choose hotel)

Morning activities

After breakfast, your travel date is on Sunday, you can visit the weekly Dong Van Market to meet the local minority people and buy the fascinating handmade goods and special products.

Note: If your travel time is not on the Sunday market in Dong Van, you will visit Lui Market can be arranged depending on the departure date.

After that you leave Dong Van and pass through Quan Ba for visiting Twin Mountain, Heaven Gate and nice road along mountain with villages to experience local life & cultures. Have lunch on the way.

This afternoon you continue the journey and see imposing pine forest at a Hmong village. This is the place of the powerful Vuong family. The palace is as the store for opium and weapons in the past and visit it will give you the glimpse of Hmong Royal life in the past.

After independence the palace was evacuated in 1950 and the descendants of this influential H’mong family now live in France and Canada. And then reach Ha Giang and check in, have dinner at local family. Here is the chance for you to chill out in Ha Giang. Interact with local minority people to understand more their life and culture.
