Giang Ta Chai Village is located in Hau Thao Commune, Sa Pa District, Lao Cai Province, Vietnam. It is about 10 km southeast of Sa Pa town center, about 45 km southwest of Lao Cai city.

2. How is Giang Ta Chai village unique?

Giang Ta Chai village is located halfway up the mountain at an altitude of 1,400m above sea level. It is surrounded by a large endemic primeval forest of up to 50 hectares, and 30 hectares of regenerated forest with a cave system containing many wonders of nature. Along with an extremely rich and diverse ecosystem of flora and fauna.

Giang Ta Chai is also the main habitat of the Red Dao people. Like many other ethnic minorities, the indigenous people here mainly grow crops and raise livestock and poultry. However, the Red Dao people also have very developed traditional crafts. Such as: brocade embroidery, silver inlay, forging, jewelry making, weaving, etc.

Starting from the center of Sapa town, you move towards Muong Hoa valley along TL125 road about 10 km. When going along Muong Hoa road, you will first come to Ta Van village. Continuing the journey, you will come to Giang Ta Chai.

But if you are afraid of walking, you can choose to rent a motorbike or use a small car (under 16 seats) to get here because the entrance is quite small.
