Morning activities

Pick up from your hotel or Tan Son Nhat International Airport, depending on your arrival time. Your first destination of the day is the War Remnants Museum, which is considered to be one of the most impactful museums in Vietnam. It provides a glimpse of the Vietnam War through images and other artifacts.

The next destination is the Reunification Palace, which was the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Vietnam until 1975. It was at this palace that history was made when the Vietnam War came to a turning point in 1975.

Afternoon activities

After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the French colonial landmarks of Ho Chi Minh City, which include the Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon and the Saigon Central Post Office. Your next destination is the Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Plaza, which is a lively shopping street that leads to the City Hall and the Saigon River.

Evening activities

You can visit the Ben Thanh Market to shop for souvenirs and snacks. In the evening, you can either go to the top of the Bitexco Financial Tower to get a panoramic view of the city or simply stroll down the streets of Bui Vien to experience the nightlife of the city.

Leave the city and set off on a half-day tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels, which lie northwest of the city. The Cu Chi Tunnels were part of the extensive underground network that existed during the Vietnam War.

After the morning tour, return to the city and have your lunch. In the afternoon, you may choose to visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda, which is one of the most evocative temples in the city, or the Thien Hau Temple in District 5, which is in the heart of the city’s Chinatown.

Evening activities

For a more relaxed final day of the itinerary, a different option can be arranged. This option can include a visit to the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts and a coffee break at a hidden café in District 1.

Evening / Departure
