Morning activities

Once you arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be warmly received by your personal tour guide. From there, you will be taken to your hotel in the heart of Hanoi. If you arrive early in the day, early check-in is possible. This is a good day to rest after your flight and get a first impression of the capital of Vietnam.

Afternoon activities

Your trip to Vietnam starts with a relaxed visit to the capital. You visit the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam, which is a symbol of the Vietnamese tradition to honor knowledge and Confucianism. Next, you visit the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a history of more than 1,000 years.

Evening activities

You have some free time in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, where the streets come alive with food stalls and local shops. You dine on your own, which gives you the opportunity to try some of the famous street food in Hanoi.

Morning activities

After having breakfast, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex (outside), which includes the Ba Dinh Square, the Presidential Palace, and Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House. Next, visit the famous One Pillar Pagoda, one of the most iconic religious buildings in Vietnam.

Afternoon activities

After having lunch at one of the local restaurants, go for a walking tour around Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Next, visit the famous Train Street in Hanoi, where people go about their daily lives just inches away from the tracks, providing an authentic experience of the culture of the people.

Evening activities

Enjoy the traditional water puppet show, which is an art form that originated in the rice fields of Northern Vietnam. The rest of the day is free for relaxation and/or independent exploration of the area.

Overnight in Hanoi

Morning activities

Leave Hanoi after breakfast and travel to Ha Long or Lan Ha Bay via a modern expressway. On arrival at the cruise port, you board your luxury cruise and enjoy a welcome drink as you check into your cabin.

Afternoon activities

You cruise through the stunning limestone karst and emerald water scenery. You may go kayaking through the secluded lagoons, visit limestone caves, or even go swimming at secluded spots. Lunch is served on board as you take in the beautiful scenery.

Evening activities

In the evening, as the sun sets over the bay, you can have dinner on board and savor fresh Vietnamese dishes. You can even go on the sun deck or simply chill out under the stars.

Overnight on board cruise

Morning activities

Wake up to the sunrise over the bay and have a light breakfast. Continue cruising through the limestone formations and disembark in the late morning.

Afternoon activities

Directly transfer to Ninh Binh, which is dubbed “Ha Long Bay on land.” On arrival, check into the hotel and have lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing or visiting the peaceful surroundings.

Morning activities

Following breakfast, visit the Trang An Landscape Complex, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a traditional sampan boat trip, cruising through limestone caves, rivers, and karsts.

Afternoon activities

Following lunch, visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital to discover Vietnam’s early dynasties. Next, visit Mua Cave, where you can climb up for a stunning view of Tam Coc rice fields and rivers, considered one of the most scenic areas of Northern Vietnam.

Evening activities

Head back to your hotel and soak up the peaceful ambiance of the countryside.

Morning activities

Savor your meal and have leisure time to cycle or enjoy your day before checking in at Hanoi Airport for your flight to Hue, a former imperial capital of Vietnam.

Afternoon activities

After checking in at your hotel in Hue, you have your leisure time or you can visit areas along Perfume River.

Free time to enjoy your day while in Hue.

Overnight in Hue

Morning activities

Visit the Imperial Citadel, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the former imperial palace of the Nguyen Dynasty.

Afternoon activities

In the afternoon, you can visit the royal tombs of Emperor Minh Mang or Emperor Khai Dinh, which are located on the Perfume River. They are a beautiful example of traditional and European architecture.

Evening activities

Free time to explore the Perfume River or the night market.

Overnight in Hue

Morning activities

Leave Hue and travel south through the scenic Hai Van Pass, with its views of the surrounding coast and mountains.

Afternoon activities

Arrive in Hoi An and have lunch. In the afternoon, visit Hoi An Ancient Town, including the Japanese Bridge, old merchant houses, and assembly halls.

Evening activities

Hoi An is a lively town at night with its many lanterns. There is time for exploration along the river, at the cafes, and at the night market.

Morning activities

Free morning to relax, explore the town on your own, or get your custom-made clothes at the tailor.

Afternoon activities

Travel to Ba Na Hills and take a cable car ride to the famous Golden Bridge, held by giant stone hands.

Afternoon activities

We return to the city for lunch. Afternoon activities include visiting cultural attractions like the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral (outside), the Central Post Office, and the War Remnants Museum.

Evening activities

We have the day free for leisure or we can opt for activities like the street food tour or the night cruise.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Morning activities

Leave for the Mekong Delta. Travel along rivers with coconut trees and observe life along the rivers.

Afternoon activities

Visit a workshop where coconut candies and handicrafts are made. Have lunch in a serene garden and then head back to the city.

Evening activities

Leisure time for your last night in southern Vietnam.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Morning activities

Enjoy your free morning in Ho Chi Minh City. This is the best time to relax in your hotel, visit a nearby café, or do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs.

You can also take a short walk in the city to feel the vibrant atmosphere one last time before your departure.

Afternoon activities
