Morning activities:

Travel out of Hanoi city and travel to Yen Bai. Drive you to the west of Hanoi following the national way – No.32 to Nghia Lo district of Yen Bai province. En route is the chance for you to see and admire the beautiful scenery of Vietnam mountains. Have lunch in a local restaurant in Nghia Lo.

Afternoon & evening activities:

Have a sightseeing at Muong Lo valley which has the beautiful terrace fields in Nghia Lo. Muong Lo Valley in Nghia Lo Town is the second biggest valley in the mountainous North-West. You can see and meet Thai minority people in the valley , suspension bridges, etc to know more of local life.

Check into the room and then you have time to enjoy stunning views of countryside and nature, visit local villages, and experience daily life. Have a special dinner with traditional dishes cooked by a Thai professional chef. Overnight at homestay.

Morning activities:

Leave Nghia Lo after having breakfast with the family to reach Tram Tau District – 30km far away to the southwest.

Tram Tau has the border with Son La Province. In Particular, it is 60km from Tram Tau to Bac Yen Town of Son La Province and the road is almost impassable. You reach Cu Vai village in Xa Ho commune which is a high hill with the homeland of H’Mong people. It is a separate hill of Cu Vai village which brings you wonderful scenery of the mountain as well as local life of Hmong people. Along the road it can be difficult and you can see the home of Thai people.

Cu Vai village has the spectacular untouched natural scenery. Especially when you climb these mountains from December to early March, you can step on the heavenly beauties when white clouds cover surrounding the mountain peak. However, if you travel on rainy days, the road will be difficult to travel.

Afternoon & evening activities:

After having a wonderful experience in the real life of an untouched village you return back to Nghia Lo and go ahead to Tu Le where you will have an overnight stay. Check in for a homestay and have dinner with the family. Evening just simply interact with the local family and enjoy the mountain atmosphere. Overnight at homestay.

Morning activities:

You wake up and take a photo of the sunrise if the weather is fine and sunny. You leave Tu Le and travel through Khau Pha Pass where there is beautiful scenery to take photos. Then go ahead to Mu Cang Chai and spend a full day here to discover its amazing scenery.

Visit and take photograph Che Cu Nha Rice Terrace Field of Hmong people. And then visit as well as take photographs at Che Xu Phinh, La Phan Tan. It’s recognized as the national landscape of Vietnam in 2007 where it has famous and nicest terraced fields in Mu Cang Chai District. Take a motorbike to reach Mam Xoi Hill which has the beautiful sight of a terrace field. Back Mu Cang Chai for having lunch at a local food stall.

Afternoon & evening activities:

This afternoon you continue to visit Kim Noi village also has a beautiful terrace field. Have dinner at homestay. Evening is the time for interacting with local people to learn more of their culture. Overnight at stilt-house. Homestay in Mu Cang Chai.

Morning activities :

Breakfast with my family. This morning you leave Mu Cang Chai for return to Tu Le where you can have more trek to Lim Mong (Black H’Mong people), Lim Thai (White Thai people) village (5 km) where you can see terrace fields and local life. Then continue to Nghia Lo. You will pass through again Khau Pha Pass and enjoy its beautiful and spectacular view of the unique pass in north Vietnam. Have lunch at a local food stall.

Afternoon & evening activities:

This afternoon the guide and driver will transfer you to return to Hanoi city. Your trip will end at a hotel in Hanoi. Wish you a great journey to the terrace field Mu Cang Chai and untouch Cu Vai village for an unforgettable time!
