Off-the-beaten-path Cao Bang adventure tour

Morning Activities:

At 8.00, Our guide and our driver will pick you up at ……..hotel in Ha Noi, then move to Lang Son and spend 2 hours on car to reach Lang Son Province.

You will spend time to stroll to explore and visit the Quy Mon Quan (or called Núi Mặt Quỷ), gate that signifies the Gate of Monsters at which a lot Of the invaders came to Vietnam from the several incursions had to enter where many were killed by the Vietnamese defenders.

And then you will travel toward Vietnam and China border about 3 hours, stopover in Chi Lang – 10 km far away from Quy Mon Quan with a narrow valley between two hills. This place is associated with some fantastic victory of Vietnam in the past and regarded as the strongest citadel at the time.

Afternoon & Evening Activities:

After lunch at a neighborhood Restaurant in Dong Dang, keep your journey in transit when you visit the Temple of Our Lady and Dong Khe – story website at which the Battle of Dong Khe was scrapped throughout the second World war.

The battle took place in Dong Khe, in the Province of Tonkin, during Sept and October 1950, finishing with the Viet Minh victory.
And then passing through Trung Khanh Valley and enjoy its natural beauties.

Then you move to Cao Bang and check in camping at Eye God’s Mountain. Have dinner at tent restaurant. Overnight at tent

Morning Activities:

After breakfast in the homestay, you’ll depart for Trung Khanh that lies on the border with China.

First you travel to Gioc Sau Village of Ngoc Khe Commune to discover the peaceful village with Voc forest (bamboo forest) as well as discover the peaceful scenery in the village and Quay Son River as well as traditional Tay Ethnic people stilt house and learn more of their culture.

Here is also the chance for you to visit Hang Thon (called Thon Cave) – a new cave in Cao Bang to discover its pristine beauties and amazing.

First you will visit rive to the Phat Tich Truc Lam Ban Gioc Pagoda, Known as one of the large-scale projects with ancient designs built in the border land of Cao Bang. From here you can get the panorama of mountain scenery with the view of 10km.

Have lunch at restaurant.

Afternoon & Evening Activities:

You continue for visit the most amazing sites in Cao Bang. Located in among these amazing landscapes is the spectacular Ban Gioc Waterfall. Which spans over 300 meters, half Vietnam and half of China.

You’ll have time to soak up the strong atmosphere of the drops and take some fantastic pictures.

Depend on the season you can discover the waterfall with different water level on each month. The most spectacular waterfall when water is much is from June to August, however, this is the rainy season so you can have rain if travel this time.

Next visit ancient Khuoi Ky Stone village where you have chance to enjoy the unique architecture and beauties of this village. Covering by wild mountain and natural beauties, you will enjoy and harmony into the fresh air and its peaceful of 400 year old village.

After that heading into another natural wonder of Nguom Ngao Cave. This cave stretches out 2, 144 meters underground and is filled up with incredible stalactites and stalagmites. (Note: Visit first part of Nguom Ngao Cave, if you trek through 2km of this cave will pay extra charge for entrance fee 4 USD/per person).

Check in hotel/homestay and have dinner at local foodstall.

Tonight you’ll remain to interact with household or hotel and enjoy the lake atmosphere at night. Overnight at hotel/homestay.

Morning Activities:

After breakfast at homestay then you start your new day to discover different handicraft village in Cao Bang.

If previous day can’t have enough time you can visit Nguom Ngao Cave this morning before leaving Ban Gioc area.

You will have the opportunity to meet the Nung individuals in the village of Phuc Sen. The village famous for its traditional blacksmith handicraft. The farming tools made here are a necessary part of the life-style that’s evident in the surrounding rice paddies fields.

Next you visit Phia Thap Insence village – a fanous traditional village in Cao Bang and discover more of peaceful village

Continue your trip to enjoy the amazing Ma Phuc Pass to get more its scenery – one of the most spectacular road.

Afternoon & Evening Activities:

We will have lunch on the way back to Hanoi at local restaurant. Also from Cao Bang for back Hanoi.
